Role Playing

In the Summer of 1989, I invented a fantasy world online as a way of making friends and influencing people. It became a run-away success and, with the advent of the web, flourished into a global phenomenon. With this, I created the Play by Post gaming platform, formalizing core rules for the post-and-response dynamic used on electronic bulletin boards and forums. Since then, millions of people have played my role playing games.
